Hi there!

I am an assistant professor in European law, investigating the delicate (and sometimes puzzling) co-existence of elements of unity and diversity in the European Union legal order. Particularly, my research focuses on the consequences of European integration for people on the move. I am interested in the experiences of mobile EU citizens and those who come from outside Europe. Unity in diversity - the EU's snazzy motto - may therefore be a good encapsulation of what I am interested in: I explore constitutional and legislative arrangements that accommodate elements of unity and diversity and examine how these legal structures affect mobile individuals in their daily lives.
